Are you interested in playwrighting but don’t know how or where to start? FPAC is having a planning meeting for our Writing for Performance Sessions starting in September at the Community Room on The Bayle.
Come to the Market Square Café, 19-21 Rendezvous Str, at 10.30am on Saturday 20 July to find out more about the sessions and how you can get involved. No experience is necessary.

The Writing for Performance Group is responding to a demand for a writing group specifically tailored for the theatre. This group will work closely with FPAC’s Community Theatre Acting group and the Professional Ensemble.

One of FPAC’s core values is accessible training opportunities. To that end, FPAC reaches out to community members with little or no experience or training in its Writing for Performance Group. We formed to encourage greater local participation in theatre. Our vision is to provide the community with opportunities to create and perform new dramatic work. Our ambition is to create positive change in the community, thus giving people a chance to develop a stronger sense of connection and belonging to their local environment and communities.
Success, for us, is to be the preeminent ensemble theatre in Kent and a vibrant artistic hub at the heart of our community that inspires local people of all ages and abilities to take creative risks.
