New Writing. Big Ideas. Local Talent.
FPAC is pleased to announce a festival of new playwrighting on 7 June at the kollectiv gallery.

Playwrights have been working on short pieces of new writing since January and will be presenting their first drafts as part of the festival.
There is still time to be a part of the festival - join the New Playwrighting Group at kollectiv on Sundays from 3pm to 5pm. Or come join us as an audience and hear some of the newest voices in Folkestone's playwrighting scene.
This will be the third festival of new playwriting presented in partnership between FPAC and kollectiv. The previous festivals have been received very positively, with encouraging responses from both audiences and playwrights. These responses have highlighted the value of engaging with new writing at its early stages of development.
The festival provides a supportive and collaborative environment in which playwrights can receive constructive feedback as they continue to refine and develop their work. The festival atmosphere encourages open dialogue between audiences, artists, and facilitators, creating a space where emerging ideas can be tested and strengthened.
