FPAC's First Children's Show, The Winter Wish

FPAC is proud to announce its first children's show, The Winter Wish, which will be premiered at Looping the Loop & ARK's Making More Waves Festival on 10 November.

Making More Waves is a performing arts festival celebrating performances created in Kent and Essex and features some of the region’s best-loved creatives, alongside emerging performers presenting  new work, workshops and professional development opportunities. This will be FPAC's second year in the festival and its first year as part of their Family Show.

The Winter Wish :

Setting: A big red post box, with a secret open top somewhere in Folkestone.

Robber: Can yer find any post? Look out for the thick ones with notes, or the ones that rattles with all the coin, or the gift card shaped ones filled with… gift cards! Mmm I love a good gift card!

::::

A rag tag rabble of robbers aim to find treasure in their local post-box filled with the winter wishes of the young & old of Folkestone. What they don’t expect is that this is no ordinary post-box but a magical one capable of transporting the hapless robbers throughout time where they discover the importance of giving rather than receiving.

Filled with sights, sounds & scents of the season, FPAC’s The Winter Wish is a play for the entire family in the run up to the holidays.

Suitable for families with children 4+.
